About Crypto Card Guy

An independent guide to crypto cards and staking rewards, written by one person who got tired of 'reviews' that were really ads.

What this is

Crypto cards — the ones that let you spend crypto, or earn it back on purchases — are a genuinely useful product wrapped in some of the worst content on the internet. Most "reviews" are paid placements with a star rating. The fee that actually matters is buried in a PDF the reviewer never opened. Country lists are years out of date.

This site exists to do it properly: read the fee schedules, read the T&Cs, check what's live in which countries, and publish the verdict with every number dated and sourced. When a card isn't worth it, that gets published too.

Who's behind it

I'm Matt — the guy. I use these cards, I stake, and I've sat through enough fine print to know where the bodies are buried. Everything on this site is researched and signed off by me. No content farm, no ghostwritten roundups, no pay-to-rank.

What this site is not

  • Not official. Crypto Card Guy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card issuer or protocol it covers. Brand names appear here editorially.
  • Not pay-to-play. No issuer can buy a review, a score, or a ranking. Cards with no referral deal get the same depth as the one that has one.
  • Not financial advice. I publish verified facts and my honest opinion of them. What you do with your money is yours.

How it's funded

Referral links, disclosed every place they appear. The full picture — including exactly which deals exist — lives on the disclosure page. The short version: honesty is the entire business model. The moment you can't trust a number on this site, there's no site.

How reviews get made

Primary sources, line-by-line scorecards, a mandatory "where it falls short" section, and re-verification on a fixed clock. The whole process is written down in the methodology.
